Nivesh's calculators are educational tools, not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Here's what that means before you act on any figure.
Last updated: August 4, 2026
Nivesh provides free calculators for investing, loans, taxes, retirement, and savings. Every calculator on this site is a general-purpose educational tool. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial product.
We are not a financial advisor
Nivesh is not a SEBI-registered investment advisor, a chartered accountant, or a licensed tax practitioner, and using this site does not create an advisor-client relationship of any kind. The calculators model general formulas against inputs you provide; they don’t know your full financial picture, risk profile, or goals, and can’t substitute for advice from a qualified professional who does.
Figures are indicative, not guaranteed
Every result is only as good as the assumptions behind it. Interest rates, tax slabs, exemption limits, and statutory ceilings referenced across these calculators change over time, sometimes with a single Union Budget or RBI circular. We date the source rates we use (visible on the relevant calculator pages) and try to keep them current, but we make no guarantee that any rate, limit, or rule shown here is up to date at the moment you use it. Always verify current figures against an official source, such as the Income Tax Department, RBI, SEBI, or your bank, before making a financial decision.
Where a calculator projects a future value using an assumed rate of return (for a SIP, a lumpsum investment, or a retirement corpus, for instance), that rate is an input you choose or a common illustrative default, not a promise. Market-linked investments carry real risk of loss, and past performance of any asset class is not a guarantee of future returns.
No guarantee of accuracy or completeness
We take reasonable care in building and maintaining these calculators, but we don’t warrant that any calculator, article, or figure on this site is accurate, complete, or free of error. Formulas can have edge cases we haven’t anticipated, tax rules can be interpreted differently by different authorities, and a statutory limit can change between the date we last reviewed it and the date you use it. Use these tools as a starting point for your own research, not the final word.
Your decisions are your own
Any decision you make using a number from this site, including how much to invest, how much loan to take, or how to structure your taxes, is entirely your own responsibility. We encourage cross-checking important figures with a second source and, for anything with real financial consequences, consulting a qualified financial advisor, chartered accountant, or tax professional before acting.
No liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nivesh and its creators accept no liability for any loss or damage, financial or otherwise, arising from your use of, or reliance on, any calculator, article, or figure on this site. See our Terms of Service for the full limitation of liability that applies to your use of the site generally.
